start to do sth.与start doing sth.有什么区别？

todosth表示准备做某件事doingsth表示正在进行做得时候starttodosth.（begin/starttodosth.）和sartdoingsth.（begin/startdoingsth.）都表示“开始做某事”，starttodosth意思是指“开始去做某事（接着做前面那件事）”,有“潜在的可能”；startdoingsth意思是指“开始做某事（做另一件事）”,有“实际进行”的意思.具体使用方面的区别：

1.表示开始一项长期活动或开始一种习惯时，使用doing.（此时start/begindoing多用于表示开始一项较长时间或经常性的活动）Howoldwereyouwhenyoufirststartedplayingtheguitar?你几岁时开始弹吉他？

4.物作主语时（句子主语是物不是人的时候,后用starttodosth）Theicestartedtomelt.冰开始融化了。
